Osun 2026: Kolawole Kicks Off Constituency Ward Tours to Mobilize for AMBO Ahead of Gubernatorial Election

In preparation for the August 15 Osun gubernatorial election, the leading aspirant for the Boripe/Boluwaduro state constituency, Hon. Bukola Kolawole, and his team commenced ward tours. This initiative is designed to enhance grassroots engagement and mobilization for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), and his Deputy, Engr. Benjamin Adereti.

Addressing party members and newsmen at four wards in Iragbiji specifically Ward 01A, 01B, 02, 03A, 03B, and 04 where he flagged off the tour, Hon. Kolawole articulated the objective. He stated that the motive is to strengthen the party’s grassroots campaign and outreach, ensuring the party's victory at the polls.

Speaking further, he noted that the present administration led by Adeleke has failed the masses. He asserted that there is nothing significant to highlight from their tenure, which has spanned over 30 months in office, and that the people of Osun are prepared to remove them with their votes on August 15.

He stressed that the Adeleke government has crippled the state's economy, given undue attention to Ede, and spent a substantial amount of taxpayer money on frivolities rather than governance. He emphasized that this situation is something every citizen of the state must work to rectify.

Hon. Kolawole underscored the importance of voting for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji as the next Governor of Osun state. He described AMBO as a certified banker, a seasoned and polished administrator, and a man with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors.

He further elaborated that AMBO possesses the skills and wealth of experience necessary to transform Osun, characterizing him as a diligent worker and a personality who is friendly to the people.

Continuing his description, he highlighted that Asiwaju Oyebamiji revived the moribund Osun Investment Company (OSICOL), transforming it into an investment agency that generates billions for the state through diverse interests.

Additionally, he pointed out that when Asiwaju Oyebamiji served as the Commissioner for Finance in the state, he ensured the prompt payment of workers' salaries, pensions, and loans were given to them.

Hon. Kolawole appealed and implored the members of the party and citizens of the Boripe/Boluwaduro state constituency to ensure they possess their Permanent Voter's Card (PVC). He stated that the PVC represents their power to vote out the current administration and elect a new government that will genuinely serve the masses.

In their response Hon. Adelani Akesin, Hon. Adedeji Ismaila, Hon. Oyebode Opesina, Hon.  Adesina Waheed and other leaders in the four wards who speak simultaneously appreciate his kind gesture from to time towards the party and assure to work tirelessly for the victory of the party in the coming elections.

The tour, which is ongoing, will proceed to Boripe North and Boluwaduro local governments. During these visits, the message of AMBO and the APC will be actively disseminated.

This comprehensive grassroots engagement aims to solidify support and ensure a resounding victory for the APC in the upcoming gubernatorial election.
