The leading aspirant for the Boripe/Boluwaduro state constituency, Hon. Bukola Kolawole, has withdrawn from the House of Assembly race following extensive consultations with party leaders across the two local governments.
This withdrawal, detailed in a letter made available to newsmen in Osogbo, highlighted Kolawole's appreciation for the "fatherly role" of the Honourable Minister for Marine and Blue Economy, H.E. Adegboyega Oyetola CON. Kolawole described Oyetola as a worthy leader and mentor for aspiring politicians.
Kolawole further emphasized Oyetola's pragmatic leadership, noting his ability to provide solutions and his love for peace, stating that he would continue to admire his leadership style.
He also extolled the wife of the Honourable Minister, Alh. Kafayat Oyetola, for her support, encouragement, and kind words towards his aspiration, sentiments he holds dear.
The aspirant commended the party leaders across all 11 wards in Boripe and the 10 wards in Boluwaduro local governments, as well as members of his group, the "Imisioluwa Movement," for their unwavering support, prayers, and mobilization efforts.
Kolawole appealed to his supporters to unite and work with whomever the party selects, emphasizing that party supremacy is paramount and expressing confidence in the party's ability to choose the best candidate.
He stressed that the victory of AMBO should be the foremost agenda for everyone involved.
Hon. Kolawole pledged his commitment to ensuring that AMBO garners significant votes across the constituency.
