The programme is scheduled to take place at the Ataoja’s Palace by 11:00 AM, and will be graced by royal fathers from across the Osun Central Senatorial District.
It would be recalled that the performing Senator earlier announced a donation of ₦20 million to support affected victims, with the intervention coordinated through the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo.
*In further demonstration of his philanthropic commitment, Senator Fadeyi increased the donation to ₦25 million at his discretion, to accommodate additional beneficiaries recommended by stakeholders.*
The Senator had also engaged officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), urging them to provide further relief support to those affected by the disaster.
A special committee set up by the palace has shortlisted over 300 victims who will benefit from the gesture.
Earlier, the cheque was formally presented to His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun, the Ataoja of Osogbo, for onward distribution.
The Ataoja, alongside other traditional rulers, commended the Senator for his timely intervention and unwavering support for his constituents, especially in times of need.
